How to Register as a Mentor on ProjectBoard

Thank you for offering your time and expertise as a mentor for the Ohio Academy of Science (OAS) events. Your guidance is invaluable to the students, helping them navigate their projects and fostering a deeper understanding of science.

This article will guide you through the account creation or re-activation process on ProjectBoard and provide information on where to find resources to support your mentorship.

Steps to Register as a Mentor on ProjectBoard:

Go to https://projectboard.world/oas.

Access the Mentor Portal:

Click on the ‘Mentor Portal’ button.

Review the information on the Mentor Portal. Once you're ready to sign up, click the 'Register Now' Button followed by 'Start Registration' Button 

















Complete the Signup Form:
You’ll be directed to the sign-up form. Here, you'll need to provide your:
  1. Name
  2. Email address
  3. Username
  4. Password
Once you've entered all the required information, click Continue.


Fill Out Additional Information:

  • After completing the initial form, you'll be asked to fill out three additional forms:
    1. Basic Information

































  • Skills and Experience


    1. Program Specific Questions


    Please complete all these forms as accurately as possible. This information helps us assign the right projects for you to mentor.

    Confirmation:

    After submitting all the forms, you'll be taken to a confirmation screen.
    You will also receive a confirmation email with additional details and next steps for your mentoring journey.
