How to create my student account?

To create a student account on MySTEMSpace and ProjectBoard, follow these steps:

Step1: 
  1. Open your web browser and go to https://mystemspace.ca/#register. You can also go to https://mystemspace.ca/ and click on "Create account" on the top right.
  2. After the modal below appears, enter your email address, confirm that you are a student by selecting "yes" and hit "Create account".
  3. Now go to your email inbox to continue registration


Step2: Check your email and fill out the Registration Form
  1. You'll receive an email with a link to complete your registration, open the email and click on "Set initial Password".
  2. You will be redirected to a form. Fill in the required details such as your name, desired username, password, and any other information requested and click "continue".


Step 3: Registration Complete!

After the form is filled and you clicked on "continue", you will be automatically directed to your YSC Portal Dashboard where you can access all information about your fair, region and integration with your ProjectBoard project.


Step 4: Accessing ProjectBoard
  1. You can use the same credentials you use to log in to YSC Portal to access your ProjectBoard Account.
  2. Simply go to https://projectboard.world/ysc, click "login" and use your portal email/username and password.
  3. A profile update modal will appear, you can update your account name and image or skip it for later.



Step 5: All Set!

Now you have access to both YSC Portal and ProjectBoard websites!
