Understanding and Using Project Templates on ProjectBoard

A project template is a pre-designed framework or guide that provides a structured format for participants to upload their work during the Project Submission Period. It outlines the specific sections or elements required to present your ideas, progress, or final outcomes in a cohesive and organized manner.

ProjectBoard offers an extensive library of templates for various project types. Here’s how to choose and use a template:

  1. Starting Your Project:

  1. Choosing a Template:

    • Browse the available templates. To view a template, hover over the template card and click "Preview."
    • Each template includes details and instructions on how to use it effectively. Review all templates to find the one that best suits your project's needs.
  2. Selecting the Right Template:

    • Once you've decided on a template, hover over the template card and click "Choose" to start your project.
    • Important: Once you create a project using a template, you cannot change or convert it to another template later. Make sure to select the right template type before starting the project.
  3. Submitting to an Event:

    • If you want to submit a project to an event, make sure you use a template from the top row on the "Start Project" page.
    • If you can't see a SUBMIT button on your project it's likely because you have created the wrong project type.

Using the right template will help you present your work effectively and ensure you meet all submission requirements.
