Welcome to ProjectBoard! To get started with creating your account, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Go to the OAS ProjectBoard landing page
Step 2: Choose the Correct Portal
ProjectBoard offers different experiences tailored for various user types including students, teachers, judges, and mentors. Make sure you are creating the correct type of account by selecting the appropriate portal:
Step 3: Click on "Start Now"
1. Once you are on the correct portal, click on the "Start Now" link.
Step 4: Fill Out the Account Creation Form
1. The form will open. You will be asked to enter the following information:
- Email Address: It is recommended to use a non-school email address as most school email addresses block outside emails.
- First Name
- Last Name
- Username
- Password: Choose a password that is easy to remember.
Step 5: Complete Account Creation
1. After filling out the form, click on the "Submit" button.
2. Once your account is created, you will be directed to additional questions.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Select the Correct User Type: Make sure you are creating your account through the correct user portal (Student, Teacher, Judge, or Mentor).
Verifying Your Account Type
1. You can check your account type by clicking on your profile picture at the top right corner and then selecting "Profile".
2. On your profile page, you will see a button indicating your user type. If this user type is incorrect, follow these steps:
- Go to the correct portal link while logged in.
- Click on the "Start Now" link again.
- The account creation form will pop up. Complete this form, and your account type will be updated accordingly.
