How to Mentor Projects on ProjectBoard

As a mentor on ProjectBoard, you play a crucial role in guiding students through their projects. This guide will help you navigate ProjectBoard and mentor assigned projects effectively.

Accessing Assigned Projects

When you're assigned a project to mentor, you will receive an email notification informing you that a project has been assigned to you.

If you’re not receiving emails from ProjectBoard, check out our troubleshooting article to resolve the issue.

How to Access Projects

You have two options to access your assigned projects:

Via the Email Notification:

Click the ‘Join Now’ link in the email, which will take you directly to the project page.

Through the ‘My Projects’ Page:

  1. Log in to ProjectBoard at projectboard.world/oas.
  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select ‘My Projects’ from the dropdown menu.
Here, you will see a list of all the projects that have been assigned to you. Click on any project card to view its details.

Mentoring Projects

  • Each project contains multiple sections where the student/project owner has shared their work.
  • As a mentor, you can communicate directly with the project owner/student and provide feedback by adding comments to specific sections of the project.

Make sure to offer constructive feedback and guide students to improve their work throughout the mentoring process.
